Don't you just hate it when you just can't sodding come up with anything coherent to release? Christmas can be partly responsible. Having stuff done to the house also. Moving the ‘studio’ upstairs, maybe. Noodling around and watching Bitwig videos by Polarity? Absolutely, but a ton of stuff has been learnt ;-)

.e. doesn't have a signature style, probably because there no way just justice could be done to any genre with these pitiful outpourings… But there is a growing realisation that vocals will need to be returned to in the near future, if only because those tracks seem to have more, well, identity? The plan is to record vocals first, maybe just to some guide chords and metronome, then add in weird noises afterwards. Let's see where that goes eh? 

Tech-wise the Moog Labyrinth is finally getting more of an airing, finally starting to understand a bit more. To date it's always been easier to stay ‘in the box’, the safety and reproducibility attractive to a very limited skill base. So more improvising, risk taking, mistakes and happy accidents and never forgetting to hit record before starting…

Software-wise, still in love with Bitwig.  To be honest everything that could be needed is there given the requisite diligence. But given the lure of shiny things elsewhere special mention must go to DS Audio's Thorn synth.  Very nice ;-)
